Goals and learning objectives

This module provides an overview of prediabetes and its management. After reading this module you will be able to describe the extent of the problem, identify patients with risk factors for prediabetes and know how to refer them to the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (DPP). You will also be able to develop individualised plans to support patients to reduce their risk of being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
