Cavendish Pharmacy in Walthamstow, North East London has been sold through the specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, for an undisclosed price to a small, expanding London-based group.
Established in 1913, Cavendish Pharmacy is a standard-hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 3,011 items per month. It is located in a parade of shops on the outskirts of Walthamstow.
The business has been owned by Samir Nejim of Teeba Health Services Ltd since 2008 and came to market after he decided to retire.
Mark Page, director – pharmacy at Christie & Co, commented: “This high street pharmacy attracted multiple bids which demonstrates that the demand for independent pharmacies remains strong. There have been fewer corporate disposals so far in 2024, so buyers are increasingly looking towards the independent sector.”
